An outreach team was in a local community and encountered a man named Kenneth who had an industrial accident and was in excruciating pain where he couldn't walk or do anything but sit. Doctors told him he needed pins and screws and they needed to rebuild his discs. He was also on pain pills as the pain level he said was at a 9;
After prayer the pain went down to 5; then after more prayer and some encouragement,he said all pain was gone and he said, "It feels GOOD". He had been only able to get up few times a day, but he got up out of his chair and started walking across the deck, praising God and quoting scriptures to us. He believes he will go back to the doctor and they will find nothing!
An outreach team was ministering in a local community and encountered a man named Darrel who was told he had a deteriorating valve in his heart and it was only getting worse. He couldn't walk or go up or downstairs and was in a lot of pain in his joints. After prayer he felt much better and the pain subsided he was getting off pills, able to walk for hour up and down stairs;
A Mommy in our church recently ministered at another congregation and received a word of knowledge about someone needing healing with a rotator cuff injury. The man had pins in his shoulder from the injury and couldn't raise his his arm above his shoulder. She prayed two times.
By the time she was done praying, he could move it much higher and he had great range of motion. By the end of the service they had to convince him to tell his testimony (They wanted the church to see that God is great and does heal His people!) He was doing full circles with that arm! He said he hadn't been able to do that for 10 YEARS!!! And he was doing it with PINS in his shoulder!
An outreach team from our church was in Lake Charles, Louisiana, ministering in the community when one of the teams came upon a young lady in the park that had a tumor in her thigh. She had not had it removed surgically because it was not cancerous. She said that she could feel it in her leg, so the team prayed and she felt it again.
When she could not feel it she could not believe it was really gone. She kept saying that it was weird and that she could not believe it. So the team prayed again that every bit was truly gone!
*This testimony is from a young lady in our church that recently participated in an outreach to Lake Charles, Louisiana.
We went out in groups to a small community down the street from the church. After splitting up and thoroughly covering the little neighborhood I was waiting for everyone else to finish and decided to try one last house next to the community. I had two members of the church with me and the three of us walked up to this man standing in his driveway. We talked to him for a minute and told him that we had good news for him. I told him that Jesus is King and His kingdom is at hand and asked if we could pray for any needs he had. He then pointed to his hearing aids.
I had heard a soft buzzing noise when we first walked up that I had just ignored, but apparently his left hearing aid had been buzzing and it didn't even bother him. He said that he has had them for 6 years and can't hear clearly without them. I asked him if he would take them out and we would pray for him. The first time I prayed I asked if he could hear me and he said they were better! I said lets pray again and get 100% hearing back. Prayed again and a smile broke across his face. He said that he could hear everything! I asked if we could have his hearing aids and he said no. Not sure what he is going to do with used hearing aids, and doesn't need them anymore!
The door has recently opened for our church to preach in a local Prison. This is a tough place, a disciplinary camp where prisoners who have behavioral problems are sent from other prisons.
While attending the service of another ministry in the prison, we noted that the altar call was a typical, "Every head bowed, every eye closed." The results were underwhelming. NO ONE came to the front. Several weeks later, at our first service in the prison and after preaching a simple message on the Kingdom and calling all prisoners to make Jesus their King and Lord, instead of only their Savior. We invited the men to make Jesus their King with the caveat, "With every head held eye and every eye wide open!"
The men RUSHED the altar, crowding it to give their lives to the Lord. At least 25 men gave their lives completely to Jesus that night. The testimony from one of the men that night was, "I have been in prison for 18 years and in this prison for 8 years and I have NEVER seen a response like the one we saw tonight. Never!"
Afterward, while praying for the sick, a man with a permanent impairment to his vision was completely healed, as God dissolved the cloud in his eye.
While eating at McDonald's a lady came in using a walker and sat down at the table right next to me. After a few minutes, I asked her what the problem was and why she needed the walker. She said that she was injured 7 years ago and has been in crippling pain ever since. The Doctor recommended a wheelchair, but she settled on the walker.
After telling her of the Kingdom of God, I asked if I could pray for her. She agreed. We rebuked the spirit of infirmity and commanded the Kingdom to come into her body and for all pain to Go, in Jesus Name! I then asker her to check it out and the pain was almost completely gone. We prayed again and ALL THE PAIN LEFT HER!
She was doing things she couldn't do before and marveling that all her pain was gone for the first time in seven years!
While at the doctor's office, after experiencing eye problems, the tech checked the pressure in my eyes. Both pressures were high,17 in the left eye and 19 in the right eye. He left the room and I knew I had only a few minutes to pray again before the Dr. came in. Unless the pressure in both eyes was 15, he was going to operate. I declared the Kingdom of Heaven over my eyes, fire of God over my eyes, and commanded my eyes be healed in Jesus' Name. I had a vision of my eyes filled with light. Just then the Dr. came in and wanted to recheck the pressure. Both eyes were 15! PRAISE JESUS!!! The Dr. and I were both happy. No surgery! JESUS IS KING!
*A group of young people regularly go to local area football games, looking for opportunities to demonstrate the power of the Gospel. This is an email we received from one of the young women on the team.
"Several of us were in a group...we walked around for a bit...talked to a few people and nothing happened. Now, when I say "nothing happened" I mean, we gave some people prophetic words, and they were totally right on. We prayed for them, etc. But nothing really "took off". :)
So, I had this thought, "I'm not leaving until either something happens, or I preach the gospel to all of these kids".
Sooo, I stood up on the stone wall and shouted "Hey guys! I have some awesome news! Jesus is King and the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!"
I then told them we were here to prove it, and asked em if they needed healing, etc. They didn't, but they had friends and family that needed healing . So we prayed for them---which kind if got the attention of some kids... Bottom line, an hour later we were still there---healing kids ankles, knees, and hands. We taught the kids that since Jesus healed them, they had authority over that particular thing now. And we encouraged them to heal their friends and themselves...which they did!!! And their friends got healed! It was awesome!!!"
*This is from one of the parents of kids that attended a recent outreach we did with young people ages 7-12 at a local hospital.
"On Sunday, September 27, 2009, I had the distinct privilege of taking three youth from NorthGateChurch to GradyHospital in Atlanta.
We encountered a homeless man who was obviously mentally and physically challenged. The demonic effects were so bad that his speech was indiscernible, he could hardly look up, his arms were drawn and to stand and walk he bounced back and forth from leg to leg in manner that was nothing like walking.
We prayed for him and saw no results.
Next, we encountered an 18 year old who moved to Georgia two weeks prior. He said he moved here because he was looking for God. We preached Jesus and the kingdom of heaven to him and gave him prophetic words that he said he knew were right. He got born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, saying that his body was vibrating and he felt like he was buzzing. He pointed out the guy we had just prayed for and said he had been trying to take care of him out on the streets of Atlanta.
As he shared this, a righteous anger against the devils that held him prisoner and the compassion of the Lord came over me at once. We told him that it wasn't right for the homeless man to stay in that condition and we went back to pray again.
Our boldness increased and faith for his healing was palpable. As we began to pray he began to weep. As he wept he started saying "Thank You" over and over. His speech was discernible and we knew the power of the demonic spirit was broken. We told him to stand and told him the power of God to heal him would allow him to stand straight, walk calmly, hold his head up and relax his arms to not be drawn. Every healing we declared manifested within minutes. The joy that came across his face is a treasure that words cannot describe.
I was looking at a man who moments earlier appeared so mentally and physically damaged that hope would seem lost. He was full of life, holding his head high, standing straight, walking calmly and filled with joy! I hate demons of mental illness. In January of 2009, a guy from our church prophesied that we would see victory over mental illness. This was my first victory over these demons and how awesome it was!
Two days after this event, I walked through my kitchen and thought of the young man who got delivered. I wept as I remembered the joy on his face as he got his life back. I realized in that moment that this is treasure in heaven. I saw with greater clarity that this world offers nothing that compares with the treasures of heaven.
Heaven came to a man from whom most children and many adults would flee. Three kids participated in doing the impossible. They saw the power of God in love.
Now, that is Sunday School worth having your kids attend!"
An outreach team was in a local neighborhood and ran across a group of about 8-10 young people and started prophesying over them, releasing the Kingdom and telling them about the power of God.
A few minutes later, they went into the home of a lady we have been ministering to for several weeks and found out that she had injured her wrist, was in severe pain and was wearing a wrist brace. Not content to merely tell them about the power of God, they decided to SHOW the young people what they were just talking about. They called the kids and had them pray for the lady with the injured wrist. It was healed INSTANTLY! No pain, full mobility and she gave us the wrist brace! It's been added to the trophy wall!
We recently sent out our Kids Ages 7-12 on an outreach to a local hospital. Two young men, ages 12 and 11 walked up to a young man with a broken ankle, that had literally been split in two in an accident. He rated his pain at a 10 out of 10. The kids prayed for him and all pain left. They then instructed him to put his weight on the once broken ankle and before they left he was jumping up and down on the ankle, without any pain!
They prayed for another guy with a weird Halo type brace for one of his legs. They found out that the man was a firefighter that had fallen and broken his leg. Infection had set into the leg/bone and he was scheduled to have the leg amputated the next day. The young men prayed for him and all pain left the leg. They asked him to put weight on the leg, something he had not done in 8 weeks and he began walking and moving normally on the once dead leg! He promised that he would walk into his doctor's office, show the doctor what God had done and have the surgery canceled!
* This came in from a young man in our church that had an unusual healing take place on the job.
"I just found one out today, a lady that I work with, her mother had cancer. About 3 months ago I called her after work and told her a tad about some Kingdom principles and she latched on to them. I prayed for her and then about a month later she said she was feeling improvement so I prayed again and sent a hanky (Acts 19:11-12).
Long story short, I just called her today to volunteer to come pray and she said "Pray for what? The cancer is gone and it isn't there anymore". Doctors are perplexed and have told her that it will most likely return since this doesn't happen but she is speaking all kinda good Kingdom stuff like "I know it aint coming back, God knows more than the doctor". Ive never seen her and she lives in TN."
* This email came in from one of the men in our church, telling of a healing that happened at the office.
"A 23-year old girl at my office was diagnosed with kidney stones, and had a dye contrast procedure done last Friday, preparatory to surgery or ultrasound ablation. She had passed some smaller stones, but still had a 1 centimeter stone remaining (ouch!OUCH!). I had prayed over her last week and she came in this morning, looking stunned. "You and my mom freaked me out". [Me: wha? Why?] "My kidney stone is gone. My urologist couldn't find it in the scan he looked at yesterday. You and my mom prayed for me." [Jesus is SUCH a great doctor!]"
One of our outreach teams prayed for a woman that had several lumps in her breast. After coming back they found that she had gone to the doctors, had a mammogram and the lumps had dissolved!
They also found out that she had pain in her ankle for the last 5 years after breaking it in an accident in two places. She couldn't go up or down stairs or put pressure on that foot and her toes wouldn't bend very far and always felt like they needed to pop but wouldn't. We prayed and she tested it out and she then went up and down stairs 3 times with no pain and then she moved her toes in like she couldn't before and when she moved them every time they would pop!
An outreach team was in a local neighborhood and prayed for a lady with severe hip pain during an equipping event we hosted recently. As they prayed for her, all pain left and she was able to walk normally without pain or lack of mobility. But that's not the best part...
The team came back a couple of weeks later only to find that she had been to the Doctors and demonstrated her lack of pain and mobility to her doctor. The Doctor was so surprised that he ordered a batch of X-Rays to see what had changed. What our outreach team did not know was that she had no cartilage in her hip, which was the cause of her pain. She was actually scheduled to have hip replacement surgery.
The doctor verified that where she once had NO cartilage, she now had PERFECT CARTILAGE! She is now pain free and has cut down on many of her once needed medications.
*This is from one of our outreach teams that has been working a particular neighborhood for the last couple of years.
"The big news is the impact we are having on this place. We were talking with one lady tonight who has lived in the neighborhood for 8 years. She said the neighborhood had really changed. The drug dealers are gone and there are just a few gang types that like to act up at night. I asked her, "When did things change?" She said about a year ago. I told her that we are to blame for the change--we are finishing up our 2nd year in their neighborhood. We have been calling in the Kingdom into every life there and it is being transformed.
The kids in the neighborhood ask their moms if their can go around with us, so we have a lot of the kids in there praying with us and holding hands and hugging us the whole time we are there. We are taking over a life at a time. It seems slow as we go, but I know it will snow ball one day. I am pumped!"
* One of our outreach teams recently returned from ministering in Indiana. While there, we took folks from the church out on the streets to "do the stuff". This testimony comes from one of the young men in our group:
"We came upon a group of kids skateboarding in an empty lot and just sat down. One of the kids was trying to jump everyone else’s boards, so all were sitting and watching when he tweaked his ankle. He came up next to me and complained to his friend how much it hurt. I asked him scale 1-10 he reported a 4.
Me: "wanna see something cool?" Him: "sure"
We commanded the ankle to immediately heal and the pain to go. He reported some reduction, but incomplete, so I instructed him to stand. When he did, all the rest of the pain left. I got a Word of Knowledge about him just beginning to learn to play guitar. He denied it, but then remembered that he had just begun before his accident- broke his shoulder months ago. Had now recovered and had not gone back to the guitar- just forgot about it. (This was a like attack by the enemy to abort this kid’s call by cutting off his gift at the root)
As I preached to him, he agreed that he should and would pick it back up. His girlfriend was sitting next to him. The girl that was with me had been ministering to her during my talk w/ the boy. She received healing for her wounded spirit, and forgave her parents for their wrongs, then, on her knees, accepted Jesus in front of all her friends."

"On the way home we were eating breakfast at the hotel and I noticed an old man's hospital bracelet. We went to talk to him, and he wasn't too interested in what we were saying but his wife was listening. She began to talk about the tests and hospitals then told us that she had pain in her hip (or knee?). She said it was a level 10, so we all prayed and told her to go test it out. Before praying she said she couldn't walk 10 feet without intense pain. After the prayer she began to walk around, and all the pain left! She took a glory lap around the dining area, and then told us, "MY GOD! I CAN WALK!!!" haha, Jesus is good."

"I was on outreach with the pastor on the first day. I saw a wheelchair ramp in the neighborhood we were in, so I took the team directly to this house. We met a lady and she told us that her legs were lame and she couldn't walk. She said she hadn't walked in 14 years, and that she said she wouldn't be able to ever again. I explained to her how that was a lie from the enemy, and then we all declared Kingdom would come to her body. We prayed once, and she said there was no difference. We prayed again, and she said her legs were hurting and that she was feeling a difference. We prayed a third time, and she walked 18 or so steps across her living room!!"
